Third-party software
The browser processing engine, audio-5.1.10-2, is built from FFmpeg 5.1.10, LAME 3.100, ffmpeg.wasm bindings and Emscripten 3.1.40. It is distributed under GPL-2.0-or-later, with the component notices retained. The @ffmpeg/ffmpeg 0.12.15 JavaScript wrapper is MIT licensed. The wrapper’s license does not replace the engine’s license.
Engine source and build instructions
Download the corresponding engine source and build scripts (12.5 MiB). The archive includes exact upstream source inputs, checksums, our browser patches, compiler version, build commands, generated configuration and notices. The README explains how to rebuild or modify the engine using free tools.

Our changes, dated September 17, 2026, select the audio modules used by these tools, apply browser entry points to FFmpeg 5.1.10, and correct the probe return value. The source files and patches retain their original applicable licenses. This software is provided without warranty.
